Jong KNCV is in 2006 opgericht als onderdeel van de KNCV. Het Jong KNCV-bestuur behartigt de belangen van jonge leden binnen de KNCV. Jong KNCV organiseert voor haar doelgroep activiteiten door het hele land, zoals bedrijfsbezoeken, workshops en lezingen.
Binnen Jong KNCV is er volop ruimte voor eigen initiatief vanuit de leden. Ideeën voor nieuwe activiteiten zijn altijd welkom. Ook jij kunt actief worden en jezelf ontplooien door bijvoorbeeld activiteiten samen met het Jong KNCV bestuur te organiseren. Natuurlijk is het Jong KNCV ook 1 maal per jaar op zoek naar nieuwe enthousiaste bestuursleden!

Vergroot je eigen netwerk met Jong KNCV!
Samen met de VNCI (Vereniging Nederlandse Chemische Industrie) ondersteunt de KNCV studieverenigingen bij de organisatie van symposia. Hiervoor stellen we een bedrag per symposium ter beschikking en leveren we materiaal aan voor in de goody bag. Meer informatie en een aanvraag kun je indienen bij jong@kncv.nl.
Een bedrijfsbezoek bestaat doorgaans uit enkele inhoudelijke presentaties, een rondleiding over de laboratoria en/of productiesite en een borrel met jonge medewerkers na afloop. Op deze wijze maak je op informele wijze in kennis met een bedrijf en het type werk dat daar verricht wordt. Misschien leg je zo het eerste stap contact met je toekomstige werkgever.
Tijdens jaarlijkse events zoals de C2W Career Expo organiseert Jong KNCV workshops die je helpen om jezelf te ontwikkelen of om de juiste baan te vinden. Op dit soort activiteiten kun je goed je netwerk uitbreiden en nuttige kennis op doen. Daarnaast is het gedurende het hele jaar mogelijk om als Jong KNCV lid geheel kosteloos de hulp van een carrièrecoach in te roepen.
The Dutch Biotechnology Association (NBV) is the professional association for all professionals in the field of applied Life Sciences. A valuable network with over 1000 members from different disciplines; from the business sector to education. The NBV aims to stimulate professional activities and corporate social responsibility. Knowledge exchange and networking are the main factors.
